Happy Anniversary, Playboy and Me!

July 13 marked the one year anniversary of Playboy and Me. This little blog started off just as a blog post for my personal blog. In that post, I wanted to go off on a rant about an article that I had read about Playboy on the campus of Oregon State University. It led to the question of 'why do women choose to pose for Playboy?' Over the past year, I certainly have had fun trying to answer that question. But most of my research was done before the birth of Playboy and Me. I had all these responses from these amazing, gorgeous ladies and had no idea what to do with them. The next logical step was to create a blog and share a bit of what I have found.

Looking back on this past year of Playboy blogging, it seemed like it was more or less a game of playing catch up. To me, it was, and still is, about the girls. From what I've learned from interacting with the models on the Playboy message boards, and more so now on Twitter, they're more than just a beautiful face with an amazing body. They are truly the girls next door. Showcasing each of the girls was very important to me. I didn't want to short-change any of the girls, especially the ones that I have fortunately gotten to correspond with. Entering the second year of this blog, nothing will change. The girls will continue to be very important to me, so much so that we won't only see how beautiful they are, but we'll see if we can get to know them a little better.
